Windows NT 4.0 Set up Instructions
1.
NOTE: This configuration assumes that your modem is properly installed
and working.

- Double click on "My Computer" located on your desktop.
- Then double click on "Dial-up Networking".

- Now press the "New" button as shown above.
- NOTE: If the phone book wizard appears, check the box stating
"I already know about phone books" and press next.

- Enter in appropriate information as shown above.
- Under Phone number type in an Internet Express access number
that is toll-free for you. For a complete list of toll-free numbers,
press HERE.
- Once everything is entered, press the "Configure"
button.

- Make your screen match the one shown above.
- Then press OK.

- Now select the "Server" tab.
- Again be sure your screen matches the picture shown above.
- Once that is done, press the "TCP/IP Settings"
button.

- Now make your screen match the above.
- Press "OK."
- Then select the security tab.

- Finally match your screen to the one above.
- Select "OK" on the bottom.
- NOTE: All other settings on the rest of the tabs should remain
at default settings.
- Then press "Dial" to get on the Internet. You're all
done!
- NOTE: If you are outside San Diego County, your User
ID must be followed with @ixpres.com
- (example: UserID@ixpres.com)
