Windows 95/98 Set Up Instructions
1. Double click on My Computer.
Double click on Dial-Up Networking.
Note: If you can not find Dial-Up Networking, click HERE

Double click on Make New Connection.

When it asks for the name of the computer you are dialing, type
in "Internet Express". Then click Next.

Enter the appropriate Area code and Telephone number for your area.
(Click HERE for a list of toll-free phone
numbers.)
Then click Next.

Click Finish.
6.

Now, right click on the Internet Express icon that you just
created. This will list a set of options. Choose the Properties
option. The above screen will appear. Click on the Server Types
button.

Adjust your screen to look exactly like this. Then click on TCP/IP
Settings.
8.

Adjust your screen to look exactly like this.
Press OK. Press OK again.
Close Dial Up Networking.
Put your mouse pointer over the Internet Express Icon, hold
down the left mouse button and drag the icon onto your desktop.
If it prompts you to make a shortcut, press OK.
9.

Double Click on the Internet Express icon.
Enter Your User ID and Password. (Make sure they
are all lower case.) NOTE: If you are outside San Diego County,
your User ID must be followed with @ixpres.com (example:
UserID@ixpres.com) Left Click on Connect.
 
Once you connect, double click on your Browser.
